Pros

This 12 inch white grab bar has a nice textured grip for added safety and security. The middle of this bar has texture to it, so that your hand does not slide on the bar. The rubber grip is a great feature.

The size is adequate and can be placed horizontally or vertically. Not too big and bulky but just enough to be able to grab and pull yourself out of the tub.

It's super sturdy and solidly built. Strong and sturdy - easy to install by professional through tile wall.

The grab bar is very solid once mounted. Mounting * is bolted to handle. Has been a game-changer.

Cons

Metal appears to be chrome plated steel. Gauge of the metal is much thinner than other grab bars i have used. Anchors themselves are flimsy.

Packaging/appearance

The size is great (16"), not too big and bulky but just enough to be able to grab and pull yourself out of the tub.

Ordered this for mom's bathtub area to assist her in getting out of the tub.

As a person that suffered a life changing accident, i have been having difficulty getting in out out of the tub/shower.

Competitiveness

Now that it's installed (into studs), it's rock solid, and has been a game-changer in keeping balance getting in and out of the tub.

What i like about product is, anti slip grip grooves and material strenght which gives strudy handling.
