If youre having trouble soldering make sure you are wiping your soldering iron frequently on a wet sponge and then applying a small amount of solder to the tip of the iron

If you can see the tip oxidizing which happens after just a few seconds the heat transfer is significantly reduced leading to solder that doesnt flow and connectors that melt from applying poor heat for too long

I crashed by drone and the blade chopped up the old one so instead of replacing the wire at the motherboard i cut off the old one and put this on it works and has a good strength the battery won’t slip out of the connector but i couldn’t fully get the cover on it never snapped into place it’s definitely user error as yes my solder is not the cleanest and i might have heated the connector a bit so keep in mind and be carful around it but it works hard to make one that doesn’t work
