This keeps the bubbles from popping against the concrete. It also reduces evaporation, and less chlorine needed.
Cons
Aren't the bubbles laminated to the cover? This is definitely an issue caused by the fold, see the attached photo and video that shows the crease along the whole length and tear. Appears all the bubbles are flattened and don't magnify the sun light.
The warranty is garbage and just a bogus overstatement. Warranty only covers delamination and seam failure. Do not fall for the scam that there is a 7-year warranty on this.
At $100-165 a cover these are expensive. To pay +$300 for this product. They sell better one for more $$. Amazon, please help.
Ordered an 18ft wide product. Was obviously cut incorrectly to about 18. It's either 16 mil thick or it is not.

We were extremely pleased with the performance of the last one purchased in may 2018.
Appears to be a good quality cover, but will see if it lasts more than one season.
Overall, this is a slightly better product.
Price
