I have very sensitive ears and can old wear gold/silver, and these have not irritated my ears one bit. Perfect for newly pierced ears or a regular sized hole. Gave these earrings to my granddaughter for christmas.
Cons

The short stems are ok and i can still wear the earrings but i have pretty small ear lobes

If you have really big holes the 2mm will fall right through
