For the price, i think it’s pretty okay.

It came in a plastic pouch inside a plastic container.


I think it’s good enough to just follow the directions on the packaging.

Competitiveness


I use the 3 crab brand of fish sauce because nothing else beats it in terms of how both umami and fishy it is.


This is similar to making thai curries from the paste that comes in tubs just like this paste.


It's savory, and tastes the most similar to the tom yum soup from archi's thai bistro from las vegas, in my opinion.


The soup i made at home is just as good if not better than the restaurants.

    There is an ingredient that tom yum soup uses called nam prik pao or a really deep flavor spicy paste made with a lot of love which is hard to make from scratch

    Its why there are so many variety of tom yum pastes on the market ranging from cans packets to glass jars since this already includes some form of nam prik pao in it
