Pros

Much easier than having to plug and unplug the cord every time. My only gripe is the switch is not definitive. It's a minor annoyance that i can live with.

This cord helps bring a wall outlet closer to her bed & control of a lamp. My christmas tree is close to my couch and the outlet so it's a bit difficult to get to but it's very convenient.
