Pros

The cooked rice is unlike any i've ever tried. This is the only sushi rice i will buy. This rice is delicious cooked iny rice cooker.

I happily pay more for the best, and this is it. Much less expensive than buying by the pound in the grocery store.

Received as ordered and expectation. Since we no longer can get it locally, it's nice to have access to it through amazon. This is a convenient way for us to get this product.

Cons

Will not be purchasing again. What a disappointment. Definitely it is not worth a cent.

There is slight sweetness and each rice grains are chewy/firm like mochi in the good way.

The prices are looking a little funky right now, so might need to look elsewhere.

I can’t get it here in lincoln so was very happy to find out that i can get it through amazon!

Shipping was insanely fast and the bag of rice was sent in a box for extra protection.

Packaging/appearance

The bag arrived in perfect condition and it's everything we hoped for!

Upon opening the nitrogen packed bag, i noticed a lovely truffle aroma from the rice.

Competitiveness

I have tried many short grain brands but this is one of the best.

Plenty of brands will "do the job," but with this rice you can genuinely recreate a high-end sushi restaurant experience.

Also, there's probably some other good brands at the japanese markets if you can get to them.

I have tried several brands of rice here in the states, but most do not come close to the flavor of japanese rice.
