The app is really good which goes along with the book. My husband listens to it on his walks. Such a quirky little book. I would recommend it!
Cons
I have contacted dorling kindersely 3 times to ask why i am having this problem, no-one seems to want to reply. This book has far too many totally unnecessary phrase translations, my favourites being:what beautiful tiles!

I will question the title 15 minutea day italian as either its designed for people who have a natural understanding of languages but for me its not 15 minutes as its quite a different language mainly when it comes to male and female also the tone of voice like raising the voice to indicate its now a question sort of thing

I think the 15 minutes is a bit of an exaggeration but i suppose that depends on if you are a quick learner as over 60s we are not
