    Once wired to the battery battery slips in easily and the flat wired cord goes out the bottom and with a twist of the cover it is ready to either through a wall to an inside outlet or along the wall to an outside outlet with a weatherproof outlet cover

    Otherwise keep changing them batteries on a somewhat frequent basis if lots of traffic there if you do not want to take this approach

    Update i found that the battery was not making contact as the plug was sitting too high when plugged into the battery
