The base is a good 1/4 inch thick. They look great and are sturdy. Highly recommend. Drinking beer. Also work great for water or other beverages.

There's nothing wrong with these glasses other than the 16oz vs 20oz aspect.

I hunted around locally for some for that would accomodate 12oz beers, but nobody had any.
