Pros

These fit great over the 4x4 posts on new porch railing. Great product, fits perfectly, a little glue and they stay. These are thick strong plastic, well-sized for 4x4 posts really dressed up the deck posts.

Bought these caps to extend life of 4x4 pt posts used for speed limit signs and reflectors along neighborhood roadway. The caps fit well on posts of varying age & dryness.

Cons

The only way i could even see installing them is if they were so far off in the distance that you really couldn't see them. They come with a built in plastic spike that you hammer into the 4x4 but each one that hit bent!
