Clear solar cover is the way to go if you don't like swimming in cold water. We use this in the spring and fall for our salt chlorinated pool and when the weather hits 100 we remove it. In the fall it does more to preserve the heat from the heater.

It's thick, so it doesn't tear easily. The cells hold up well, they don't crack open as soon as the lighter weight covers.

The new cover is not near the quality and thickness of the original one. Company now requires that i pay the $600 return shipping cost.

The plastic is so brittle it tears just by moving it. It rolls up lousy! Which is really frustrating because all the money, time and effort getting this cut and positioned on my blanket reel.
