I have put about 3 hours of constant cutting on this jigsaw, cutting wood and sheet metal and i have very pleased with the performance .
The quality of the materials and build are above expectations.
I have not had any issue with this product.
Competitiveness
I’m sure the bosch and festool jigsaws are exceptional, but i couldn’t see the difference for the price over the cordless ryobi.

As for the product description there is no blade saver feature on this model

I was cutting perpendicular and noticed i could move the base slightly with some force putting it out of 90 deg
