Youll find lots of solar charger products that have no chance of working because they are simply not big enough

Thick cloud will stop it working there just isnt enough light so no charger of this size could work

On a camping trip we were out all day and left the charger inside the tent light coloured so its not dark inside charging a battery pack

In the morning and evening wed get a useful amount of direct charge from the charger then top it up with what had been harvested by the battery pack

An iphone will charge till the cloud is so thick it’s about to rain at which point you’ll probably want to bring the panel and device inside anyway

Of course this is not necessary to use the panel but would make a good addition
