It still pumps a very minimal amount of bubbles but not enough for even the kids to be entertained.
Big disappointment. I am returning it because it doesn’t work on battery power. I hope this is a one off problem, but i am nonetheless very disappointed.

It's great quality and highly recommend it.
We use it with the bubble brand gazillion and it's an endless supply of bubbles.
The issues had do do with the liquid being over the batteries or complicated moving parts.
This is amazing we have tried many and all others had flaws that made the product messy, unstable or just lack of performance.

The bubble juice goes in one end away from the power or batteries
