The switch to adjust from 33 etc only speeds up the playback. Every record sounds too fast. The platter is super wobbly and uneven.

I have, and it felt spiritually wrong. It is cheaply made and did not function properly at all. At least it's more durable.

The sound quality is as it should be.
Personally do no need a boombox so i am happy with the sound.
Back in the day we listened to the song , not the quality of the equipment, you can hear the separation of instruments.
Not the best sound quality, but it's 100% acceptable for playing the odd song and general listening.
