You can certainly do this with these earphones, they have great sound quality which i was really impressed with.
Sound quality is really nice and they sit perfect in my ears and don't fall out which normally happens with me.
So in terms of running the sound quality is rich (not tinny or over based).

These earphones are defiantly worth the price.

Had in-ear headphones with memory wire before, (my last pair, costing 4 times the price of these), and got on really well with them.

Took me a minute to figure out how to fit it in my ear but once in properly it stays in for running long distance

Its the only type of headphones that seem to stay in place at the gym as the wire is constantly being tugged on with various bench excersises
