However when using camping found reconnecting cable to aerial was very difficult to get screwed on tightly enough to get proper signal

Works really well its inside the house in a corner behind the tv and still gets all the channels with no disruption all previous aerials i tried even amplified ones were sketchy

Comes with mounting bracketry for putting outside but tbh its not particularly pretty and is quite big so i wouldnt bolt it to the outside

However the tv worked straight away with the aerial only 1 meter and half away in the same room

I thought i would need to get a longer cable and site it in the loft at the very least if not outside on an aerial pole

This aerial is very big so not recommended for true indoor use in a room etc unless you dont mind it being a feature of the room
