I opted for this mic for the production of youtube videos having previously used a mix of a plantronics usb headset and my mobile phone headset both of which work but lack a professional sound

I cant comment on the quality of this compared to other cardioid condenser usb mics its cheap so its probably not great

Make sure you know what youre getting into it takes up desk space and you need to speak into it i have it in front of me at a distance of around 3040cm from my mouth so its unlike laptop or speakerphone mics
