In the end for an analog stereo source i am using the headphone output from a hdmi splitter already wired in for another purpose

I could also use the digital optical out from this splitter to the 1mi transmitter but acknowledge that the 1mi is limited to pcm digital input and thus would not provide any sound signal when my hdmi source is sending dts to downstream devices i
