Pros & Cons
Pros
The aluminum case dissipates heat well. The fan draws air through and exhausts it. This helps keep it cooler.
Cons
The mobius is much quieter. The amount if time i spent copying these files is rage-inducing. Do not buy.
The only way it would recognize the drive is by powering off the imac, turning on the enclosure, and then powering the i mac back on. Since is gpt no mbr applicable tools.

I've used owc products in the past and this product shows the quality that owc offers.
Pros:good quality, looks and feels well made, if that possible !
Competitiveness
Easy to install 2 3tb seagate drives also purchased from owc.
I have a pair of hgst nas drives (3tb ea) in raid 0 (6tb really fast) total which i use for video editing.
I replaced the stock fan with a noctua nf-a6x25, and now it's near silent except for the drive noise.
