Pros & Cons
Pros
Just be careful prying them open.
Purple button on our craftsmen 1/2 hp garage door opener. The battery compartment - which is very flimsy on the old units, is reinforced and substantial in these new items. Remotes come with battery already installed.
I was pleasantly surprized with these units because of their low price. Totally delighted. Perfect and the price. The remote themselves are very nice.
Cons
Remotes are flimsy plastic that do not work. Difficult to get cover off to get access to dip switches. No clear listing on how many dip switches there are. Incorrect description of product.
Highlights
Quality
I was a litlte concerned with the age of our garage door and needing a remote.
They even come with the batteries, so just set and go.
Just take a pic of the back of the unit with the dip switches, set the remotes the same way and that's all there is to it.
It took me longer to deal with the ladder than to program both remotes.
Price
They are light weight, very easy to get the signal to work, and the price was great.
I was pleasantly surprized with these units because of their low price.
But the cost was a reasonable risk.
Shipping
Was super fast from the time of ordering to the time of delivery (1-2 days).
Packaging/appearance
It came in really nice packaging, in separate baggies too, came with simple but great instructions.
Competitiveness
It worked whereas a competitors did not.
Worked well for an old 1991 lift-master (model# 1155lm) garage door opener.
After researching what remote to order for our older liftmaster opener, and ordering incorrectly based on info from the oem site (!

Took me about 60 seconds to program would of been faster if i could easily get to the garage door machine thing but had to find a pole and couldnt see the light was on from my angle as long as you make sure you order the right remote you cant just order any remote and expect it to work with your garage door
