Pros
For me, diagonal control is better than it ever was with the old ones. The * feel really nice and are very responsive. D-pad is flawless.
These are just great. They work great on my laptop. All bottoms work, and configuration on the pie was super easy.
Very impressed with this - especially at this price point. It's cheap, but well-made. Great controllers, though.
Cons
They have amazing build quality, but the versions i got register a lot of false diagonals. Even after tinkering with them they never felt right. These controllers are garbage.
Controller reads idle as the user holding down the up button. Very frustrating and very disappointing.
The l/r * can't be pressed down on the inner edges.

My only gripe is with the d-pad: while it works well, it doesn’t have quite the same center-deflection as the original.

Competitiveness
These controllers are a little more clicky than the real controller but for the price, they cannot be beat.
I bought these for my retropie setup, and they work great.

If you are constantly pushing buttons rapidly or holding down either the a b x or y buttons down dont be surprised to find that the springs inside the controller stops functioning to pop the button back into place
