I have owned both the official link cable and this link cable and the original one i have had problems with ever since i bought it.
Though, none of the cables i own that are capable of 5 gbps or higher are as long as this one, and therefore not suited for my quest 2.
Price
This is super affordable and budget friendly.
99 and i feel that is good value for money for a durable, 16ft usb-c cable.
Thankfully, this cable was an inexpensive option, and it does indeed work.

Oculus pc driver kind of sucks so you may get errors when trying to run the usb speed test but it does indeed top out at 2

Picked one of these up for my oculus i was crapping my pants waiting for it i was scared the cable wouldnt of been good enough to work on the oculus but boy was i happy to find out it certainly does and its longer than ron jeremy i gave myself an extra like foot with a short extension cable but if i didnt have it then the length would of been just fine especially if i was skimp on my cable slack i used stick on cable clips its a little heavy for them but with enough of them theyll hold but because of its gurth which is thicker than lexington steele its heavy but to be fair its a well insulated cable that seems to be braided which helps prevent it becoming tangled up but it also feels like the wiring is thick too so it feels like it wont break from the inside any time soon actually my oculus might go kaput before the cable does i dont recommend buying the oculus link cable from the oculus store its too expensive for its quality if you want a cable for pc link with steam save yourself the money and just get this cable or dont and buy this cable and maybe buy some accessories like a battery pack or bump grip for the controllers the oculus branded one just isnt worth it ill definitely post another review if i have any issues that are not caused by self incompetence
