Glass is very sturdy, as it is glass. Clear glass allows it to blend seamlessly with my desk and decor.
Cons
The outside tube of the leg is some kind of metal, maybe stainless, but the bottom half is the cheapest kind of plastic. While the pandemic is going full force, i worry about standing in line to return the item at the post office. Still no response.

Before purchasing this riserdesktop stand my nightstand always looked cluttered lamp books cell phone tissue box etc etc etc

Now the lamp sits firmly on top of the riserdesktop stand with my books and kindle stashed comfortably underneath it leaving plenty of room in front for anything else
