This would be excellent if only it was longer, it is so short that it is almost useless. Threads on the mount were covered in black stuff so could not screw into my camera. Looks like silicone, but not sure.

Never in my life have i had a problem mounting things but this house is built with something that my hammer drill with various bits cannot penetrate

Does a decent job of suspending a camera in odd places but you the end that screws into the camera is too wide and interferes with the opening where you plug in power

If i have to access the camera to keep changing the batteries its use becomes a bit limited in terms of where you can hang it

It’s thick but the part that screws into the back of the camera is very stiff
