These are great for lounging at the beach. The flocked coating adds comfort, but more importantly, keeps them in place. They are very soft and comfy.

They are plastic with a little flocking but i still woulnt want to sit diectly on it in a bathing suit

The part you lay on is flocked so it isnt uncomfortable to lay on

If you would prefer to lay on a towel you can place it on top and it wont slide around
