I had the pleasure of dropping my phone face first onto a pavement ground and i thought that my screen had cracked even with the phone screen protector

I was so angry that the screen protector didnt prevent the crack but low and behold when i removed the screen protector the cracks were gone and my phone looked brandnew and the screen was not affected at all

I found these easy to install being fairly stiff they could be placed exactly in position without the fear of touching the screen unlike the thinner type where if you misplace it it is very hard to realign
