Pros

The base is well-weighted and the stand is sturdy. The only complaint is that there are only 3 rubber feet on the bottom. There are extremely sturdy and the bases are sturdy and heavy. Extremely heavy and sturdy.

Works perfectly with my icloud micro monitors from ik multimedia. Use an adapter to get the 1/4 inch threaded camera adapter to work with these. Perfect in front of combo amps as you can achieve any position and distance.

Stand works perfectly as a desktop home for condenser mics. I use an at2020 condenser mic and it holds it in place extremely well. They hold the mics very securely with no thoughts of them falling.



Cons

The manufacture claims of '5 pound mic' is an outright lie unless the mic itself is mounted directly over the center of gravity. The stand threads are a little too big for the threads on the base. Kind of a design flaw. There are only three rubber fee...  Read More

    If you put a 5 lb microphone on it that is cantilevered with the weight far away from the axis of the mic stand of course it will tip over

    If you had 4 or more your likely to get the wobbly table or chair issue where you then need to shim something to keep it from wobbling
