It is 3 or 4 times thicker at least than a standard outdoor extension cord, well made and durable. The cable are thick and sturdy.

Cons

End connectors are junk. Had to cut the connector off and fit a good quality one rated at 15 amps. Not happy.

The ground prong on the previous cord (same exact cord as this one) broke off after about a year of use.
