All plastic with exception of the inlet female connection that is brass. Brass fitting is nice. Feels well made, solid brass fittings and a very sturdy shell.

The meters seem to be well made, easy to use and robust.
These appear to be well made and are very easy to hook up and use.
The device is mostly made of hard thick plastic.
The button scrolls through the modes, and a long press resets to zero.
Price
This is an excellent purchase at this price point.
It does come with batteries which is a really extra bonus as they can get costly.
Probably not…but at least i would know what a fair price would be, based on water usage, if i did want to 😉.
While i have no way to check if the reading are accurate, the meter is an inexpensive way to monitor water usage.

Packaging/appearance
I got this meter to help me mix my hydroponic system fertilizer, so i don't need to worry about the container being fully emptied or not.
The package includes a coin sized hard plastic disc, just in case one does not have a coin handy.
Competitiveness
I ran a couple of tests comparing the measure with the weight of water output, the measurement was within 50 ml for 1.
Working so far last one i bought that was a different brand but looks similar die after a couple uses.
The next time i hand wash i can compare it and see if i can get that down or determine is that’s the average it takes to wash a car.

They work best with low pressure solutions such as drip irrigation or soaker hoses because you can know that all of the measured water goes into the ground unlike onto the leaves with a sprinkler

The unit does not seem to impede water flow to any significant degree and provides readings even at very low flow rates such as from water barrels

One noticeable flaw is that the outer thread is plastic and can get ripped up easily if screwing a hose onoff regularly
