Made the water fresh and drinkable. Coffee definitely taste different when you use filtered water.
Cons
Did not fit snug in pitcher, so almost worthless. Previous units fit, but these didn't seat well and floated up.

I drink it and cook with it my dogs drinks two big bowls of it everyday if no water in the bowl my youngest yorkie would put the empty bowl in the middle of the floor and keep kicking until i refill the bowl
