Pros & Cons
Pros
Great for pc snes and nes emulators and it is exactly what i was looking for. Works just fine on windows 10 with no special software or drivers needed. Works great on my raspberry pi 3b+ running retroarch emulators. The a&b were reversed on my ras... Read More
Compared to ibuffalo controllers of yesteryear they are much better and wireless. They feel great, the battery is great, and mapping is easy. I keep it all in a cabinet near my tv with the cabinet doors closed.
Usb connection and charge as well is amazing. Great retro feel, quick response & my batteries have yet to need a recharge. Way longer use than my xbox one controllers. Great battery life.
Cons
The charging cables are usb but they do not allow the controller to work when plugged into a pc, they only charge. I have no idea what the big clunky plug is but i have nothing that it can plug into. The game pad has 8 * not 13.
Highlights
Quality
Perfect for my arcade simulator and good wireless range
Great retro feel, quick response & my batteries have yet to need a recharge.
Buttons respond very well when selected, no lag, and battery life has lasted nearly a week so far with no additional charging!
The instruction says to press and hold the power button however that does not power off the remote.
Price
The ibuffalo controllers where about $15 on a sale, so for these at 2 for $25 i feel these are a great price.
For the price, these controllers are excellent.
I didn’t believe it was going to be anything other than cheap.
For the price, you get what you pay for.
Packaging/appearance
Also beware that there was a card inside of the boxes that say "warning: cancer and reproductive harm".
Wasn't the button colors i ordered as i got two purples and thought i'd get one purple one multicolor.
Competitiveness
Excellent value for two - way cheaper than the popular brand name one (which is $40 for one).
Compared to the ibuffalo controllers of yesteryear they are much better and wireless.
Overall they aren't bad there are just better options at of course a higher price.
