Pros
I prefer to hook my dogs leashes up to their collars. The reflection of light on these is great and they feel like they're good quality for my intended purpose. Perfect for prong collar back up.
Cons
The small plastic piece that is supposed to keep these at the length you want are cheap and do not work. Shouldn't be marketed as a backup for prong. My dog is a ground sniffer and this comes loose after 2 minutes.

Prong collars can let go and so this is a good safety feature so that in case the prong collar releases, you still have your dog.
They’re lightweight so it doesn’t look like it’s adding anything uncomfortable to my dog, there’s no reason to not have this added safety.

My dogs have harnesses and collars but i prefer to hook their leashes up to their collars because i’ve read harnesses can teach dogs to pull more

These could also be used to make a double dog leash but the length isn’t very long so i wouldn’t plan on using these for that purpose unless you have small dogs that walk next to each other

I tried pulling on them with them all the way short to see if they expanded as other reviews said and i didn’t have that issue

Just ordered more to have as an extra safety incase the connection for my leash were to ever break
