Pros & Cons
Pros
Backpack has good straps and supportive chest and waist straps. It has a whistle on the chest strap, which is something i look for in any outdoor/recreational backpack. The zippers are sturdy zipper, with attached pulls.
The items for the most part are very good. The cookware is super nice and would also be pricey on its own. I appreciate the long expiration dates on the food and water.
The life straw is a great quality item in its own, and it’s inclusion in this kit saves you a lot of money. Sustain's premium kit contains many of the items that the company recommend to have on hand in cases of power outages or other * weather events... Read More
Cons
Perishable items are supposed to have a shelf life of 5 years, yet they all have an expiry of 2. The major flaw is the water cartons. At any harbor freight the emergency blanket and first aid kits would be no more than 10 dollars.
Highlights
Quality
However, i am very very pleased with the quality of the items in the bag and the backpack itself.
Only wish batteries for flashlight and lamp were included, but all in all, very satisfied with the products.
A must have good quality for the price and came as described but must add any id meds change of clothes personal items will be heavy
Price
That was our preference but to grab and go this bag is fully equip and totally worth the price.
Packaging/appearance
They arrives in good condition and i quickly added to the pack.
We added things like more weapons, compass, paracord, biodegradable soap, solar radio with phone charger, tent, sleeping bag.
Competitiveness
I swapped out the food anyway for some datrex bars and vacuum packed jerky anyway.
