Pros
They grow inward instead of a square & shoes is a big factor. My toe problem is healed after soaking with the clamp on. Overall it is a good product, it does the job, but very durable my lasted 2 months.
Cons
No directions makes it kinda hard to use as i have no clues what i am doing. Not a good purchase.
The metal hooks are very thin, acting like a blade when pressure is put on the nail. The screw is too narrow to actually move the bar that is supposed to pull the arms. It just spins freely inside the piece.

I will admit that this was it difficult to use you really have to follow the instructions and keep at it once you get it on the first time you pretty much got it down it was quite a persistent ingrown for my case thats why i dont give it a full five stars it is a pain to figure it out to get it to stay on your toe the first two or three times

So far this product works well for my toenails which edges started to bent and cut into my toes several months ago

These do what they say they will do lift the toenail from the edges
