Pros & Cons
Pros
Stakes are sturdy and work well to hold down your canopy or tents. The plastic piece has a hook on one end to keep the rope from sliding off and there is a hole in the other end to help you remove the stake from the ground. They're great for holding d... Read More
They are about twice as heavy as the three backpacking tent stakes you see on the far right. These are by no means lightweight, but the value for what you get is there.
These new ones from avoforest appear to be slightly thicker/sturdier. They are basically long steel spikes that you can hammer into the ground and not worry about them breaking. The plastic spikes are a little bent but still work.
Not bad, and reasonably priced for the lot of them. Just as good or even better than the ones you get from menards. Orange tops are easy to locate when time for removal.
The 20-piece tent stake set from avoforest is a game-changer for securing my ground blinds during the hunting season. A nice set of thick tent stakes and have a number of tents and shelters. Overall, the avoforest 23 piece heavy duty tent stake set is... Read More

Price
This set of stakes are an amazing value.
Overall a great deal if you are looking for sturdy stakes.
I ordered the 20 pack which came out to $1 a stake, that is less expensive than what you’ll pay at your local store.
The value for what you get is there.
Packaging/appearance
The included bag that comes with it is a nice touch and helps keep them organized.
This product comes with a nice vinyl bag that has 20 spikes and 2 plastic stakes.
The package comes with 20 galvanized and two plastic stakes.
They're neatly packaged in a vinyl bag.
Competitiveness
To help you compare it size-wise to other common tent stakes, see my photo, showing these new ones on the left (with their hand... Read More
I've gotten other brands of these and the weak spot is always the plastic head on these.
They are just as good or even better than the ones you get from menards.
This brand seems no different but based on my initial experience with them, they'll right on par with all the others i've used.
