I thought i was getting a black car seat but the top part is more of a gray color

The base has latches that self tighten and then loosen only when you press and hold buttons

So you hold the buttons latch them and then you can literally just push down on the base until it clicks as far down as it can

Crack was decent but i didn’t like how the base was so hard to install and seemed loose and also overall it wasn’t snug enough

Finally i realized they don’t make the adapter for this graco to my uppababy vista and decided to splurge

It can be used without the base but plan ahead because the seatbelt safety buckle for nonlocking seatbelts is stored on the bottom of the base and can fly on airplanes
