This antenna is designed for a tv with a modern digital tuner made after 2009

An older tv will need a converter box

Broadcast tv signals are lineofsight so unless your antenna is on one mountain top and the broadcast antenna is on another mountain top 120 miles is wishful thinking

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Even if you could overcome the lineofsight problem at 120 miles the amplified signal would be too weak to be usable

Do not believe the advertising hype

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The older models dvb66 and dta66 are advertised as good for 40 miles and 80 miles if you buy the additional amplifier

Note be sure to use the channel scan on your tv to get all of the available channels

By placing the antenna on top of books in a builtin bookcase near the ceiling and outside wall i got 65 out of 69 stations and even on a rainy day i got 53 out of 69 stations
