Starting out of the box because of the solid state hard drives you do lose the audible sound of when the machine might be ready to complete setup

I would give it 2 minutes and then press controlwindowsenter to start narorator which will give you speech to setup the rest of the machine and get into windows and install other assistive technology

The computer sees these as separate audio devices so you would be able to use this output 3

If setup correctly the microphone aray is stereo so if you sit in the center of the machine you can record a bit of a wider sound
