The only requirement on my part was online registration and downloading the users manual for future reference

That said the 2021 newest thing in the description is misleading theres no special 2021 model the e595 was followed by the e15 a year or two ago there have been no updates to the e595 since the e15 came out and im not certain lenovo is still making them

Thinkpads used to lead the pack and its a shame lenovo seems to have decided better than average when average is barely usable is the goal to shoot for

I ran into some problems with ubuntu that seemed to disappear if i added processor

If your eyesight is good you might want to get the e495 instead
