Apple tv 4k lets you watch shows and movies in stunning 4k dolby vision and hdr10+. Asphalt 9 is a fantastic game on apple tv. The picture quality is stunning.

The 2022 apple tv is a highly useful upgrade. Use it as a home hub to connect and control smart home accessories. It saves the shows you have saved and records the new ones.

Cons

Annoyingly everytime u download an app u must confirm on an iphone. Even trying to be very careful causes accidental fast-forwarding and rewinding, especially when watching videos — this is a terrible functionality.

The only way to revive it is by unplugging the power and plugging it back in. The problem persists even when you set it to never sleep.

There is no fix for this - which astounds me, since i thought apple products are the best. Apple refuses to exchange these. The center channel only accepts a 3. Update as of 4/20/23.

Extremely disapointed by apple's latest device. In general, considering this is apple's newest processor, this 2022 version actually seems sluggish. Compared to my old apple tv 4k, this one is simply unstable.

Dolby vision looks way better on chromecast. Dolby atmos audio sync is horrible. I now use my older roku ultra streaming box (from 2020) which works beautifully with my denon avr.
