The adhesive is strong stuff but ive owned dozens of this type of light and ive never had the adhesive last more than a year or two

I normally end up having to drive a flat tack through the mounting plate to assist the adhesive in keeping it in place

It works well to turn the lights on however it seems like it doesnt continue to check for motion after the lights are switched on

Even if youre standing right in front of the sensor and moving it will switch the light off after it times out and then flick back on
