Pros & Cons
Pros
The pages are much thicker than i expected based on older reviews. The black edging is clearly on purpose - it's visible in the first picture on this listing. Grey ink is perfect.
The sleeve is a blank dot grid, perfect to doodle on or leave as is. The planner pages are numbered as well.
This is a journal with edging so that doesn't surprise me. It is a bit larger than i was expecting, but true to the size listed. The manufacturer’s video gives you a perfect overview of what is in this journal.
If you love to bullet journal/plan this is a good planner. For those who like the idea of using a bullet journal for a day/week planner but are a bit too lazy to sit there and draw out each page--this is perfect. I run three businesses and manage mult... Read More
Only critique is that in the beginning, there's yearly overview/calendars for 2017-2019. My only pet peeve is at the beginning of the book the year at a glance has the years 2017, 2018 and 2019. I easily printed out some newer calendars from online an... Read More
Cons

Only 25% of the page area is actually dot grid on the weekly pages. The calendar squares are significantly smaller with only 5 lines of dot grid compared to the previous edition’s 7. Some of the charts are kind of hard to understand what you're suppos... Read More

I am guessing they changed the product over time or something.
Went with the planner for a few reasons.
Price
I have used all types of planners and notepads - franklin planner was a favorite, but the cost was too prohibitive.
Packaging/appearance
Packaging looks great albeit not super useful to me.
Competitiveness
Exactly what i was looking for as a beginner at bujo with a need to have an easy, organized planner.
I needed some structure for my attempt at a bujo.
I really wanted to love this - its got pages for just about everything you need in a bujo, planning pages, monthly calendars, p... Read More
