These are almost as secure but can be removed while out and about

Thayre a little bulkier as the mechanism for locking and unlocking takes up more room than the inner workings of a standard pin back or my allen wrench backs but not problematically so unless youre mounting several to a very small area

Removing them may require a little assistance to pull the parts of the mechanism apart but that assistance can be as simple as shoving the edge of a credit card or id in there so im not inclined to downgrade my rating over that

I wear pins on my badge to display my years of service in health care but i am constantly knocking them off when i catch my badge on something around me

Hard to remove than the ones you pinch on the back

I didn’t know how to open them at first but you have to push down on the base of the pin while pulling up on the button and then slide the pin backing off the needle
