This keeps my 8 year old busy in the car for hours. The designs are a bit complex but this is designed for 6+ yr olds. We really love tangrams and this is not exception.
Tangrams puzzles are great for the mind, since there's plenty to solve. Comes with two books of puzzles (120 puzzles in each book) great for teaching motor or thinking skills. Comes in a box with other items.
Great set for 4 yr olds. My granddaughters love to build things and this encourages them to see how parts fit together to make a whole.
Cons
Only one side of this is magnetic. Don't buy. This was advertised as two sets of magnets for this package.

Kids love this and it is very sturdy
Great range of puzzles and the amount of pieces.
They will stick to the inside of the booklet but when placed into a container in the car, the pieces fall off and get lost.
The foam and magnet side stay together pretty well

Was a wow gift in an occ shoe box!
It was smaller than expected and it would be helpful if there was a storage container or bag for the magnets.

I should have read some of the reviews to see that it was a separate book and you add the magnetics next too the booklet

When i buy toys for my kid i try to at least have some functionally to improve either motor or thinking skills and this does both
