Pros & Cons

Update Pros and Cons

Pros

Remove the wire nuts tying the house ac to the transformer. Reattach mounting plate to electrical box, careful to place wires back inside electrical box and re attach mounting plate. This transformer is a quality product, and performs as advertised.

Cons

It seems as if better packaging is to make up for lack of quality control. In the process of returning this one and hopefully getting my money back.

The 27+ volts output by this transformer is higher than the 24v limit of my camera. Then voltage drops no chime and ring pro dies and reboots. Tested with volt meter shows output only 9 v. Now that we installed this transformer, nothing works!
