The surface placement is important to have a stable cam. Fluidity of positioning allows for minute adjustments on the fly. Rotates 360 and can be used for a variety of web cameras.

This mount works nicely! Works perfectly. This product does this perfectly!

It takes a bit of wrangling to get it positioned just right, because it is so sturdy. It is strong - the clamp firmly attaches to my desk and holds the camera still - no vibrating. Even a slight bump still made this thing shake.

The clamp, while it seems strong in that it takes a bit of pressure to open it, slips right off when you try to adjust the camera. The connector requires that you screw the webcam around it, rather than twisting the connector to easily bond them.

The clamp on this product leaves something to be desired. Product was returned after two days of frustration. A reasonable product design made useless by the decision of going with that cheesy, cheap clamp for a solution.

With both pads now out of service, i can't get the mount to stay clamped to my desk anymore. It just shoots off because of how the clamp is angled. The clamping power is pretty bad, so when you clamp onto something it kind of just slides down.
