Pros & Cons
Pros
Used this as a nice alternative for a tent footprint. No better ul groundsheet to be found. Great for projects and garments. Worked great as a portable projector screen!
Used as a camping, picknicking drop cloth and the fuzzy side got the nod for comfort in warm humid conditions. Waterproof and can also be used for shade/tarp. Also use it to wrap backpack for the night against rainy weather.
Made into a lightweight ground sheet for my tent while backpacking. Takes up less space in my pack and is super light as well as very durable. It’s so light, yet so durable that i’ll never go on a backpacking trip without it.
Very good. As advertised. Breathable out of the box.
Highlights
Quality
This stuff is awesome, super light, water resistant, perfect for a ground cloth while hiking for 12 days
Unique material, with combined properties of paper and fabric.
No moisture got through and it's super light weight.
It should work great, but i'm not sure how well it will hold up with regular use.
Price
Saved myself an easy $35 this way.
Much less expensive than trying to use envelopes or tyvek suits.
The footprints you buy specifically for your tent could cost from $30 to $50.
Don’t know if this is “worth it” financially, but is great if you don’t want go buy tyvek in bulk and soften it on your own.
Packaging/appearance
It's amazingly light and the product came intact and well packaged.
Packs down nicely and has minimal weight.
I bought this piece of tyvek to pack in my emergency bag as either a ground cover or tent tarp.
Purchased for it to wrap an antique queen sized quilt for storage.
