Pros & Cons

Update Pros and Cons

Pros

Sensor is accurate enough for airconditioning. Has proven as accurate as far more expensive probes. Little off but still great for the price and using it only for air conditioning.

Cons

Both probes are 11 degrees off, if you are in hvac this is the difference between charged and over charged. When i hold the sensor end between my fingers, the temperature goes down instead of up. All in all, these probes are junk.

I purchased another temp probe with the cheaper, solder-type tip that already had a banana plug adapter with it.

In my case it’s a fluke 80tk thermocouple module and i have never sent it to fluke for calibration because the calibration will cost more than replacing the 80tk

I wondered if this would work with my older craftsman multimeter as a replacement for the original temp probe that had seen better days
